Interested in a group run (3 to 7 miles, by ability level) and simple U.S. Army Ranger conditioning workout? Join us. We’ll start with a short prayer and reading, followed by group runs through a nearby neighborhood, and conclude with optional conditioning exercises. Teens welcome, accompanied by a parent.
When: 7 to 8 am Saturdays (unless weather is bad)
Where: Meet at Marian Grotto (school parking lot)
What: Runners grouped by ability level (mile pace)
No RSVP needed
7:00 am Meet and open with a prayer and simple reading from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (Battle of Prayer) and scripture to fuel prayer throughout workout.
7:05 am Group runs begin punctually according to ability groups (runs route from church through Foxcroft Neighborhood and back to church). Each group will have a group leader. Runs will vary from 3 to 7 miles based on pace. Additional core and upper body exercises will follow after run for those who desire to continue.
S-7 = sub 7minute pace per mile
S-8 = sub 8 minute pace per mile
S-9 = sub 9 minute pace per mile
S-10 = sub 10 minute pace per mile
S-11 = sub 11 minute pace per mile
