Early Education & Literacy Tutoring

As part of our Caring for Charlotte initiative, St. Gabriel Church supports community organizations that provide tutoring for literacy and math in under-resourced elementary schools.  According to Charlotte's Opportunity Task Force report on our city's economic mobility crisis, "children who are not reading well by 3rd grade, are four times more likely to drop out of high school."
