St. Gabriel parishioners who have completed our “Genesis to Jesus” Bible study or will complete it in spring 2025 are invited to join Dr. David Glasow for an incredible, faith-deepening pilgrimage to Greece. 206Tours is a highly reputable tour/pilgrimage company and provided an excellent experience for our 2023 Holy Land Pilgrimage. We are excited to travel with them again!
For eleven days, we will follow in the footsteps of St. Paul and experience beautiful sites throughout Greece visiting Philippi where Paul the Apostle delivered his first sermon and established the first Church in Europe, Mars Hill in Athens where he spoke to the Athenians, Corinth and the site of St. Paul’s trial by Gallio, and more! Our tentative itinerary even includes the House of the Virgin Mary in Ephesus in Turkey where she lived until her Assumption according to Catholic Doctrine. A popular Pilgrimage site, this Shrine has even received several papal visits and blessings. Our trip also includes a 3-day cruise to beauiful Greek Islands like Mykonos, Crete, and Santorini.

Above all, this is a spiritual pilgrimage - an experience of faith - much more than a sight-seeing tour. On this trip there will be spiritual components with daily Mass and prayer.

Our "Genesis to Jesus" Bible study provides an important foundation for us, as pilgrims, helping us individually and collectively get the most of our pilgrimage experience. The big-picture of salvation history helps us understand God's plan for his people and for each of us. It provides a common framework for our discussions, conversation, and prayer on this trip to Italy.
