Dear friends,

As we seek to live out our faith, our Lord calls us to take care of our bodies as “temples of the Holy Spirit”.  Supporting us in these efforts, our St. Gabriel Health Ministry marks American Heart Month with our annual parish “Heart of a Woman” program.   Designed for women of all ages, this year’s program features a Healing Harp Journey and terrific information on heart health.

The statistics on women’s heart health – for women of all ages and races – are alarming.  As we nurture and take care of others, we often neglect ourselves.  “Heart of a Woman” is a wonderful and enjoyable opportunity to do something important for yourself.  Please bring a friend and join me on Saturday, February 17!

“No riches are greater than a healthy body; and no happiness than a joyful heart.”  Sirach 30:16

God's blessings,
