Altar servers assist the priests and deacons during the celebration of Mass and other liturgies.  As the priest acts in the person of Christ in the Mass, altar servers have a very special opportunity to be near Jesus and serve him.  

Becoming an Altar Server 

• Parishioners in grades 4-12, who have received their first Holy Communion, may serve.
• Altar server training is held periodically during the year. 
• Once trained, servers are scheduled for 1 to 2 Masses a month, with input from parents on availability and preferred weekend Mass.  Regular calendar notifications are issued directly to parents of servers via email and through Planning Center Online.
