Charlotte Family Housing

About Charlotte Family Housing

Charlotte Family Housing (CFH) is a shelter-to-housing program for homeless families with a unique program that empowers them to achieve long-term self-sufficiency through shelter, housing, supportive services, and advocacy.

Homeless client families receive temporary shelter, connection to permanent housing, 2 years of partnership with a social worker to address barriers to stability and empowerment tools.  Families are also supported by a Hope Team that provides a network of intentional support.  Learn more here.

St. Gabriel Church is contributing $175,000 and 4 volunteer Hope Teams for CFH as part of our Caring for Charlotte initiative.  Our financial support moves 4 families out of homelessness and enables them to achieve long-term self-sufficiency over 2 years.  It also funds an additional CFH social worker for 2 years.
