Mental Health and Wellness Ministry

Nearly one in four of us has a family member struggling with mental health issues.  From depression to eating disorders to suicide, mental illness strikes regardless of income level, gender, age, or ethnicity.  So many families suffer in silence.  During these times of personal darkness, our faith community can be an important source of support.

If you are worried about a loved one, talk with them. Find tips here.

St. Gabriel Church is commited to mental health and wellness.  We provide educational resources, programs, and connections to qualified help.

For adults and teens
Everyone is welcome
No RSVP needed

For too long those who struggle with mental health have been kept silent by stigma and shame.  Together, we hope to create a community of compassion and action.

Join us for an evening of conversation on PTSD, eating disorders, addiction, and suicide for adults and teens.  We’ll listen to the stories of community members through videos from the Compass & Light documentary series, accompanied by a moderated panel discussion with local mental health professionals.   Stay for coffee and connect with local agencies that provide mental health services.

Hosted by the St. Gabriel Mental Health and Wellness Ministry and Silent Images.
