*November - December: Baked goods for St. Vincent de Paul Food Baskets
We need 400 desserts prepared and ready to deliver to the Parish Hall (school cafeteria) on Friday, December 16th, between 1 and 5 pm. Get a jump start and bake and freeze your desserts now. Homemade cookies, candies, pies, breads, cakes, etc. are welcome. Important: Desserts should NOT require refrigeration, must transport well (on top of the food baskets) and should serve a family of 4-6 people. Wrap thoroughly in clear plastic or foil. Join our St. Vincent de Paul Society outreach in the school cafeteriaat 7:45 am to help fill over 450 food baskets for needy families in our area. Everyone is invited to join in this annual St. Gabriel Christmas tradition. With many hands, the task is usually completed by 10:00 am.

December 19: Florence Crittenton Dinner

*December 30: Assemble gift bags for the Men's Shelter
Help assemble 250 gift bags at 2:00 p.m. and then serving dinner to the men at the shelter. While you are out shopping, please purchase a package of men’s socks, underwear, or toiletries. Or, if you would prefer, you may send a monetary donation and we will purchase the necessary items. Donations may be dropped off at Nancy Poffenbarger’s home at 6511 Chipstead Lane, Charlotte 28277, or you may call her at 704-541-1418 for pickup.

Our parish Altar Society needs you! This ministry launders and irons the Communion purificators for the church, maintains the holy water fonts and cares for the Adoration Chapel.
