St. Gabriel youth (and a team of adult leaders) ask for your support for their participation in the Camp Out to Stamp Out Homelessness on June 14 – an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of McCreesh Place / Supportive Housing Communities. St. Gabriel will sponsor a “campsite” for this event, and our volunteer team will be camped out for 24 hours on the grounds at the corner of Providence and Sharon Roads. The event is intended to raise community awareness of SHC’s efforts to alleviate homelessness and human suffering by providing permanent housing and by aiding personal development to break the cycle of homelessness.

SHC is an active participant in our community’s commitment to end homelessness. The last ten years at McCreesh Place has demonstrated the ability to implement and operate permanent supportive housing that allows people who were formerly homeless to be successful in safe, stable housing. Supporting SHC is a way of committing your resources to be a partner in our community’s goal to end homelessness.

Our Camp Out volunteers will be stationed outside all Masses on June 8 & 9 to share information and to solicit pledges/donations in support of their participation in the Camp Out.
