DISCOVER THE AWESOME, UNIQUE TALENTS GOD HAS GIVEN YOU!
TEENS ENJOYING OUR SPRING 2014 WORKSHOP
“I enjoyed learning about my strengths.” “Thank you for having this program. It helped me a lot.” “This was a wonderful learning experience.” “I enjoyed the group discussions and interactions.”
These are just a few of the comments by the St. Gabriel teens who have participated in our StrengthsQuest workshop—a program which is offered by more than 600 schools and universities! Are you ready to sign up?
Who: Teens in grades 9-12
What: A two-afternoon workshop that will help participants discover their God-given strengths and learn how these strengths relate to all aspects of their lives: faith, school, relationships, career choice, etc. The time flies with conversation, interactive activities, videos, and more! It’s facilitated by adults and teens who have completed Living Your Strengths and/or StrengthsQuest.
When: Sunday, September 21 and Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the Ministry Center at St. Gabriel. Participants must attend both sessions.
Cost: $15. This fee covers the cost of the on-line assessment and class materials. Please make check payable to St. Gabriel Catholic Church; your teen may bring the check to the first session.
Registration: On-line Registration begins here Monday, August 25, and will close when the workshop is full (24 seats).
Additional Information: Once your teen is registered, they will receive a one-time use code via e-mail from the StrengthsQuest coordinator. This code will allow them to access the StrengthsQuest website, where they will take a 30 minute on-line assessment in order to discover their strengths. The SQ team will have access to their results, which will allow us to generate personalized reports regarding their unique strengths. Participating teens must complete the online assessment no later than Thursday, September 18.
